RJ Root’s Guitar Night

Hailing from Ventura, CA, RJ Root is a professional guitarist based in Los Angeles. Since
graduating from Cal State Fullerton in 2017, RJ has maintained a full time career playing with a
diverse set of artists and bands. He has worked with esteemed jazz artists such as Bob Mintzer,
Russ Ferrante, Joe LaBarbera, Martin Wind, Luther Hughes, Ron Escheté, and Paul Kreibich. In
the pop world he has worked with Sam Pounds, Cocoa Sarai, Iranian super star Reza Rohani,
and Southern California-based pop group, The PCH Crew. While on tour with them he had the
opportunity to open for artists such as Jennifer Lopez, Ricky Martin, Mana, and Bad Bunny.
