As a Jazz artist, Lenny has performed with Phil Woods, Dexter Gordon, Tom Scott, Jack Sheldon, Jeff Hamilton, Eric Marienthal, Booker Ervin, Tommy Newsome and Bill Wautrous. In the early 1980’s he formed his own big jazz band for which he did all of the composing and arranging. This band played at many of the local jazz clubs including Carmelo’s and At My Place as well as participating in the public school jazz education program.
