Adding 2 more horns and keys to\nhis core lineup of guitar trio with sax. The resulting seven piece\nensemble ensemble is Brad on guitar & electric sitar plus\, Sax\,\nTrumpet\, Bone\, acoustic piano\, acoustic bass & drums. Hidden Agenda\nis no guitar dominated blowfest\, but a musical outing accenting the\nleader’s compositional sensitivity and the delicate-yet-feisty textures of\na carefully-conceived ensemble. \nBrad Rabuchin is a LA based guitarist who now splits time between\nleading his own band and a successful career as a sideman. Some of\nBrads’ credits include: Bonnie Rait\, Roy Hardgrove\, Louie Bellson\,\nPat Martino\, Steve Turre\, Al Kooper\, Steve Wonder\, Buddy Miles\,\nLean-to\, Diane Shurr\, David “Fathead” Newman\, Willie Nelson and\neven Mr. Tom Jones. He also spent 5 years and toured 6 continents as\nthe last guitarist with Ray Charles. Brad has also Toured Japan 3 times\nunder his own name and recently played at both the Rocky Mountain\nArchtop Festival and the Central Coast Jazz Guitar Festival. All the\nwhile\, though\, Rabuchin has also been honing his own unique musical\nvoice\, just left of center. \nGuitarist Rabuchin is not one to paint by the numbers\, musically\nspeaking\, or play by a given set of rules. That much is clear on his 2\nsolo albums “When Smart Dogs Go Bad” and “ Cats Have\nEdge” .They are jazz albums with liberal doses of other\, mutually\ncompatible influences\, from rock to funk to ethereal aesthetics\, and\nback. \nHe also has 2 albums out for 2021: “For John” a guitar duo project\nwith David Becker\, and “Held to a Different Standard” a quartet\nproject with guitarist Allen Hinds. \nBrad Rabuchin – guitar & electric sitar\nJon Papenbrook – trumpet & Flugal\nEd Wynne – sax\nJustin Kirk – bone\nRyan Roberts – acoustic bass\nDave Zarlinga – drums

His unmistakable piano work became an essential part of Bowie’s sound\, most famously through his legendary improvised solo on “Aladdin Sane.” Garson would ultimately perform with Bowie across multiple eras of his career\, including Bowie’s final public performance in the United States. \n\n\nCarmine Rojas (bass): Carmine was Bowie’s bassist during one of the most commercially explosive periods of Bowie’s career\, touring the world with him from 1983 through 1987 and recording on classics including “Let’s Dance\,” “China Girl\,” “Modern Love” and “Blue Jean.” A remarkably versatile bassist\, musical director and producer\, Rojas has also worked extensively with Rod Stewart\, Joe Bonamassa and Julian Lennon\, as well as artists ranging from Stevie Wonder and Tina Turner to Eric Clapton\, Keith Richards and B.B. King. He reunites here with Mike Garson to revisit the Bowie songbook from the perspective of two musicians who helped create it. \n\n\nDave Wood (guitar): Dave is a guitarist\, producer\, and musical director\, known for his longstanding work with Grammy-winning singer Andra Day\, serving as her guitarist and musical director\, touring internationally with her and contributing to her recordings. A Berklee College of Music graduate\, Dave has also performed or recorded with artists including Dua Lipa\, Jennifer Lopez\, Jessie J\, Sabrina Carpenter\, Steve Perry and Common. A longtime collaborator with Mike Garson\, Dave has joined Mike for numerous performances spanning jazz\, rock and the music of David Bowie. \n\n\nMax Garson (drums): Max represents the next generation of the Garson musical family. Two of\ntheir last three studio LPs debuted in the top 15 on Billboard’s Contemporary Jazz Chart.\nTheir music has been licensed to appear in videos for brands and companies such as New\nBalance Shoes\, Fifth Third Bank\, Land Yachts Skateboards and Independent Trucks. The\nSure Fire Soul Ensemble’s 5th studio album\, Gemini\, was released on March 28\, 2025 via\nColemine Records. \nSFSE is equally at home in the studio as they are on the stage\, where their original songs\ntransform and take on new life through live performance.
