The West Coast Jazz Hour Trio consists of Josh Nelson on piano, Eric Sittner on double bass and Kevin van den Elzen on drums. The trio will perform tunes written by the most famous musicians and composers that were active on the West Coast. These musicians include Henry Mancini, Clare Fischer, Shorty Rogers, Victor Feldman and many more. The band will also play original material inspired by these musicians.
Josh Nelson is an internationally acclaimed pianist who has worked with Natalie Cole, Ivan Lins, Gaby Moreno, Kenny Washington, Freda Payne and many others. He performs his own original music all across the United States.
Kevin van den Elzen is drummer and bandleader originally from the Netherlands. He leads his own big band, the VDE Big Band, and performs in the Los Angeles area as well as in various parts of Europe. He has played with Dick Oatts, Bob Mintzer, Dianne Reeves, John Clayton a.o.
Eric Sittner is one of the most in demand bass players in Los Angeles. He currently performs with Patti Austin, but also performs with pianist Vardan Ovsepian.
